Streamezzo Launches Everyworld Platform with NEUF Cegetel

April 23, 2008

Everyworld, the new service convergence and usage continuity service from Neuf Cegetel, is based on Streamezzo’s rich media technology.

Paris, France, 3rd April 2008 – Streamezzo, the leading provider of rich media solutions and platforms, today announced that its division Streamezzo Experience has designed the new Everyworld platform, launched today by Neuf Cegetel, the fixed internet operator which is also present on the mobile services market. This new portal offers genuine coherence between internet, mobile telephone and TV services, offering an easy way of transferring services from PC to mobile phone*. Users can therefore access their favourite services from any location.

With this new service available via the website www.everyworld.fr, Neuf Cegetel is offering its customers the very best in mobility, allowing them to access their favourite services from their mobile* phone just as easily as they can from their PC. In order to offer continuity in service usage, Neuf Cegetel plans to make Everyworld available from all devices: mobile phone, PC (late April), and television (later on).

For this project, Neuf has used technologies that are as similar as possible to Internet technology. Streamezzo Experience, a division of Streamezzo focussing on the development of rich media applications, was assigned with the development of web and mobile interfaces, as well as the administration of part of the infrastructure specific to the new service. This technological convergence means that users can simply “drag and drop” their favourite services (such as Dailymotion, EBay and Boursorama) to their mobile phones.
